The plant health certificate for forestry and agricultural machinery documents that the requirements are met
A phytosanitary certificate is a document issued by the plant health authority in the exporting country. The certificate confirms the origin of the consignment and shows that it meets the phytosanitary requirements of the importing country.
In Norway, it is the Norwegian Food Safety Authority that issues phytosanitary certificates for used forestry and agricultural machinery, implements, and similar items when exported to countries in the EU/EEA.
An inspector from the Norwegian Food Safety Authority will inspect the shipment and issue a phytosanitary certificate if the requirements are met.
The Norwegian Food Safety Authority charges a fee when issuing a phytosanitary certificate. See the overview of prices for export from Norway: Fees for issuing export documents (mattilsyet.no)
